Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the PRODUCT_NAME browser extension (the “extension”) and any purchase of PRODUCT_NAME Pro (“Pro”). By installing the extension or purchasing Pro, you agree to these terms.

The extension

PRODUCT_NAME captures, annotates, and exports screenshots. The core capture and annotation features are free. Pro is a one-time paid upgrade that adds presentation features — backdrops, frames, social presets, redaction, history, and additional export formats.

License

When you purchase Pro, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pro on up to 3 devices belonging to you. Pro is activated per device using a randomly generated device identifier; there is no license key to store or share. You may move Pro between devices by deactivating one device and activating another in the extension's settings. Licenses are for personal or individual professional use; one person or role per license. If you need Pro for a team, contact us about multiple licenses.

You may not

• activate Pro on more devices than your licence allows, or share your activated devices with people other than yourself;
• resell, sublicense, or redistribute the extension or your licence;
• remove or circumvent the licence validation mechanism;
• use the extension to capture content you do not have the right to capture, or in violation of any applicable law or the terms of any website you visit.

Purchases and refunds

Purchases are processed by Waffo Pancake, our payment provider and merchant of record. Waffo handles payment, sales tax, and invoicing, and appears as the seller on your statement. Pricing is shown at checkout before you pay.

If Pro does not work for you, contact support within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full — no questions asked. Refunds are issued through Waffo and may take a few business days to appear on your statement. A refund ends your Pro entitlement.

Your data

Screenshots and preferences are stored locally in your browser and are never uploaded by us. To check whether this device has Pro, the extension sends a randomly generated device identifier — and, if you activate a purchase made on another device, the order ID from your confirmation email — to our licence server and to Waffo. Waffo holds your email address and order details as the seller of record. There is no licence key. See the privacy policy for details.

Availability and changes

We may update the extension, add or change features, or discontinue features over time. We aim to keep the free features stable and to keep Pro a one-time purchase: having paid once does not expire. If we ever need to wind the product down, we will publish notice and keep licence validation running for as long as reasonably possible.

Disclaimer of warranties

The extension is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that capture will work on every website — browsers place technical restrictions on some pages (for example internal browser pages and the Chrome Web Store), and some sites may break capture techniques at any time. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the extension, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using the extension at any time by removing it. We may revoke a licence that violates these terms. Revocation affects Pro features only; the free features of the extension remain available.
